Interns make up a large part of the campaign team. Coming together in different subsections, they are the main driving force behind it all.

As an intern, you will largely partake in the organization of fundraisers, meet & greets and more, working with a team to bring these events to life.

THE TEAM

OUR TEAMS

Members of the core team are in charge of the basic logistics of how things are run.

As a core team member, your tasks will include but are not limited to planning and organizing campaign events (fundraisers, community events), writing policy briefs, researching city issues, and managing and reflecting on community input.

CORE

outreach

The outreach team primarily focuses on gaining public attraction towards the campaign.

As a specialized body, members of the outreach time should have experience in social media and publicity.

Tasks will include managing social media presence, updating websites, graphic design and advertisement.

The finance team is in charge of the campaign's inflow and outflow of money, and budgeting.

As a specialized body, finance team members should have experience and interest in working with numbers and budgeting.

Jobs will consist of providing a budget for events, brainstorming fundraisers, and managing campaign funds.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be enrolled in high school or an undergraduate/graduate program, and be a resident of San Diego County.

PROCEDURE

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, via email ONLY. One submitted, you will be asked to undergo an interview process within 2 weeks of submission. All applicants will have the opportunity of an interview regardless, unless they do not meet the eligibility requirements.
